Guns N Hoses to Benefit the Miller's
The Goodyear Fire Fighters took on the Goodyear Police Officers in the annual Guns N Hoses Flag Football Game on November 15th. The proceeds from the game went to the family of Goodyear Police Sgt. Deron Miller. Sgt. Miller's wife, Kim, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in October.

I'm praying for You, Kim. You have the best attitude of anyone in your
condition. As a Police Officer, I saw many cancer patients when I'dd go on calls, as well as responding to ambulance calls. I think most all of them were in physical and mental depression.
I have sent your story to everyone on my e-mail list, most of whom are police officers, attorneys, or in the administration of Justice field, and asked for donations. I don't know if it will do any good, but I tried. When I was an Officer, I would always donate to Officers and their families. I pray that the good people on my list donate.
I will be donating as well.
If there is anything else we can do,just let me know. Physically, I can't do much because I have Dystonia, which retired me medically in October 2005. I could have retired this year wiith full pension, rather than a medical retirement.
Keep up the good attitude, and my wife and I are praying for you all.
Tell Sgt. Miller hi, and we are thinking of him and your family, too.
