Aunt Kathy Here: Arizona Republic Newspaper Article

Deron and I were interviewed by the AZ Republic Newspaper yesterday and there will be an article on Kim in the Valley and State section of the valley wide paper tomorrow and and in the Southwest section on Friday. Jen also posted a link to the article that is on the azcentral.com below.

Deron and I are pleased with the article, after both spending over an hour each with this reporter on the phone. She did a good job communicating what a great attitude Kim had and how she was truly and inspiration to all.

My stomach is starting to churn at the thought of what is taking place this evening and tomorrow. My heart aches for Deron, Nan, Joe and Scott and I am asking for the strength to get through the next few days as calmly as I can to be able to give them the support and encouragement they need right now.

Regards,
Aunt Kathy

I do not know you personally, but your love for your family has given me so much strength. You will be a rock I am sure, but remember, it is okay to cry, Kim would understand!

I hope you will consider leaving this blog up. I know it's helped a lot of people! :)

I know exactly what the family is going through. I went through the same thing last year at this time. I lost my sister (age 30) to breast cancer.
I tried to remember the funny things my sister said or did. It helped me get through the funeral. Don't be sad that Kim is gone, be happy she is out of the horrible pain she was in. Kim was our rock. We need to continue her strength and inspiration in our hearts!

I was heartbroken when I found out about Kim. I just lost my niece at breast cancer on July 16th at CTCA. Kim reminded me so much of Debi that I felt she was part of my family. I will keep your family in my prayers. God Bless you all.

As many of Kim's friends and blog followers, I was unable to attend the funeral. Please post the video that was made of her pictures that were collected. As the article stated she was a truly amazing person who touched many lives. Daron was right, She lit up the room when she walked in and her outer beauty and inner beauty drew you to her. I have many fond memories of her cheering for her children at the baseball games. She will truly be missed.
