Dear Kim, Deron & family, You are constantly in our prayers for your complete healing. I wanted to let you know that there is a healing prayer service at St. Thomas Aquinas on 12/12/08 from 7pm to 9pm. Please let us know if you need anything at all. I have told several friends about your website so that we can all donate for your medical expenses. God bless you and keep you & your family in his care. Kim, I recall your great strength when having your beautiful children without pain meds. You are amazing & so is your Mom...You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. I could barely handle being on 20 weeks of bed rest when pregnant with Katharine. We are proud of you & are your praying cheering section. Since Katharine is well now, we wanted to ask when would be a good time to visit you? Love & Blessings, Gloria, Patrick & Katharine Lee
Kim, I am Deron's cousin from Kansas ..I just heard about what you all are going thru as Mom got a letter from Aunt Barb (My dad is Barb's brother! ) Anyway,I couldn't believe what I heard and was so sorry that I had not heard sooner. Your family is in our prayers and we will be following your blog daily! I have ready many of the stories and blogs and I can't believe your strong spirit! Keep up the good attitude and you will be fine! OF course prayers work wonders as well! It has been so long since I have seen Deron -my goodness he looks like Don! I can't believe it! I think the last time I saw Deron was when we came out for Debbie's wedding many years ago -Wow! That was along time ago! Well,I just wanted to say hello -and let you know the other Kansas cousins are praying for you and cheering you on as well! Please let Deron know that we love him and will be praying for his entire family! Love to all,
The Phoenix Thunder is a non-profit organization of firefighters and police officers from across the valley who compete in tackle football games to raise money for children in need.
**update**
The Phoenix Thunder raised $5000 for the Miller family on June 26th, 2010!!
Thank you Phoenix Thunder for the amazing season and for the amazing gift you have provided for the Miller family!! We can't thank you enough.
The Goodyear Fire Fighters took on the Goodyear Police Officers in the annual Guns N Hoses Flag Football Game on November 15th. The proceeds from the game went to the family of Goodyear Police Sgt. Deron Miller. Sgt. Miller's wife, Kim, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in October.
